Growing up in Vermont, looking out the huge windows of a one-room schoolhouse, I was enamored with the clouds moving across the sky, the rhythm of the rolling hills, the brilliant colors of the sunsets on the water… such images grabbed my heart. Nature brings me peace. My passion is to recreate and capture such “moments in time.”
Bio
I’m primarily self taught with lots of How-to books, and many 6-week workshops in the course of my 30 years plus in oil painting! I knew there were holes in my learning process. So, in the fall of 2023, I took an introductory course in painting. A semester at Community College of Vermont–the introductory course was in acrylics! I am currently painting in both oils and acrylics.
