“I like to think of my paintings as capturing a moment in time, including the emotion experienced in that one elusive moment. I am constantly aware of working my paintings to reflect the color and light of an object or landscape I get my inspiration from the New England landscape and my heart is Vermont.”
Bio
I have been fortunate to study under Aline Ordman of New Hampshire and have traveled throughout the world with Aline and her lively group, painting plein air in Tuscany, Italy, Provence, France and the mountains of New Mexico. I have also attended various workshops with many other talented artist’s including Colin Page, Timothy Horn, Thomas Jefferson Kitts and others. I have benefited greatly from each of these talented people. I am continually attending workshops and The Plein Air Convention.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Vermont in Zoology and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland in Accounting. Though a Certified Public Accountant professionally, I have been interested in the creative process from a very young age. I enjoy participating in a variety of outdoor sports including golf, bicycling and skiing. I love to paint En Plein Air.
