Watercolor and Photography
I do watercolor and photography using fine art materials and equipment, returning to themes of color and nature to convey my love for the natural world. I attempt to capture my audience's interest and hope to encourage them to explore the world around us. My greatest joy is seeing a commissioned piece lovingly displayed in the owner's home.
Bio
Throughout her life Deb has loved color. At play she observed the world around her and was particularly fascinated by the vivid color and huge variety of flowers. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Nursing, traveled as a nurse, and met her husband in Vermont. She has six children and step-children along with ten grandchildren. As the children grew she found an outlet for her creativity at Davis Studio. Within a few years she discovered watercolor and since has joined numerous watercolor classes with Kathy Bergeron and Lynn Cummings. She is inspired by these particularly creative instructors and the unpredictability of the the paint as it is applied. Photographing nature followed with personal photos used as inspiration in art projects. She's a member of Essex Art League. Several of her works were included in the book "Inspired By Emily" and she's exhibited across the Champlain Valley. She loves to share her art with others.
