Vermont is a constant source of inspiration for me. The changing seasons bring opportunities to capture some of nature's loveliest expressions. I frequently see things I instantly know I would like to paint and if I have a camera with me or a phone I'll collect and image and paint it in my studio. If it's possible I'll return to the location and paint it. My media of choice is watercolor. It works well with spontaneous and flexible painting. I also enjoy experimenting with a variety of materials to get a specific visual effect.
Bio
Lynn Ann is an Artist and Photographer living in Vermont.
She's created cartoon characters using her skill with pen and ink. She takes workshops and always has a project on her easel. Her studio space in her home is small and includes a North window. She enjoys working in watercolor, pen and ink, acrylics and oils. She is married, has two dogs, tropical fish, a cat and a house full of plants.
